Great info, really enjoyed the collection. Small and quiet, I took about 1.5 hours to enjoy this museum.
This is a great museum! It's pretty big and has lots of military memorabilia and frontier carriages. It's free and open to the public (even though it's on post). There's also a little gift shop-
Very good western history museum mostly on Lewis and Clark, and how the two world wars affected the fort.
So many displays from the beginning of Fort Leavenworth to current day. Totally amazing!
Good history, for one of the first areas to be developed in the push to the West!!! Knowledgeable tour guide also...
